Gently sloping uphill Par 4 hole, widely praised for excellence of design. Keeping the tee shot to the left of the fairway sets up the  approach shot onto an undulating green. It is possible to reach the green with an outstanding drive from the tee after a careful assessment of hazards situated to right of the fairway and to three sides of the green.
